Assistant Drug Controller Srinagar Reema Gulzar, according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said they are conducting special drives regularly and are checking whether CCTV cameras are installed, digitised billings are enabled and if they have records of NRX or scheduled drugs. “The installation of CCTV cameras is important, and about 40 to 45% of chemists have a digital billings system,” she said adding they have sealed about 10 to 12 shops in two days for not installing cameras. She added that they have shut down the operation of shops for one to two days and have not sealed them, saying it is a warning for them as they have to install cameras.
